‘I Don’t Know’ by Alabaster dePlume

… ‘This is my visual interpretation of Alabaster DePlume’s single, I Don’t Know from his debut album Copernicus. The girl in the stop motion finds a book called The Circus Is Coming, as she reads the book she is transported in her mind to another place.
The main character’s face becomes painted white as she goes off into her imagination. There is a boat that crosses seas to get to the character throughout the short film, once they meet things start to happen.
I either shoot continuously to capture movement of another object or I set up the camera on the tripod + move in front + behind the camera.’
